The City of Sutter Creek has already adopted a resolution to annex into the CFD, and before the Jackson City Council on Monday night was a resolution to do the same. Daly explained that the main intent of the Community Facilities District is to create revenue to provide services as mitigation for new development. Amador County previously utilized the services of a consulting firm to assist with the rate and method of apportionment calculations for the District. Daly also said that the County is now imposing the CFD as a mitigation requirement on any future subdivisions, parcel maps, and lot splits approved by the Board of Supervisors.  Daly recommended the City Council consider the adoption of the CFD for any new development within the City of Jackson. This would apply to any future subdivision final maps brought to the City Council for consideration. After some discussion regarding what type of projects the CFD would apply to, it was determined by the Council that any new parcel created would be part of the CFD. The annexation in to the district was adopted unanimously.
