Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Hwy 124 Wreck |

 Last
night around 9:30 pm a serious accident
happened on Hwy 124 just outside of Ione. According to witnesses on scene the accident
occurred when the driver of this motorcycle, who was northbound, drifted over
the center line and collided head on with a southbound van. The driver of the van attempted
evasive action but was unable to avoid contact with the motorcycle and its
driver. The driver of the motorcycle suffered a serious injury to his
leg and arm and was flown by air ambulance to UCDavis med Center. The CHP is
currently investigating this accident.
